Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers opened as 3.5-point underdogs at Kansas City in the last Thursday Night Football game of the season. This one could go a long way in determining the AFC West champion and the Chiefs beat the Chargers 38-28 in L.A. earlier this year, but over 60 percent of early bets are backing the Chargers to cover this time around.
Packers
The Green Bay Packers are one of a handful of sub-.500 teams that still have a shot at a playoff wild card spot. This week the Packers are set as 6-point underdogs at the Chicago Bears. It looks as though the Packers may have to run the table for a chance at the post-season but they did pull off a huge comeback win over Chicago in Week 1. The Bears were up 20-0 in the third quarter before Green Bay rallied to win 24-23. This week the action is split on the spread, while almost three-quarters of our over/under bets are on over 45 points.
Eagles
While the reigning Super Bowl champions are hanging onto their playoff chances by a thread, the Philadelphia Eagles have their work cut out for them on Sunday Night Football. They are just 1-5 against the spread against teams with a winning record and face the 11-2 Los Angeles Rams, who are coming off a loss to Chicago last week. Almost 80 percent of bettors like the Rams to bounce back and cover as big 9.5-point favourites.
Saints
To close out the week, NFC South rivals clash in Carolina as the Panthers host the New Orleans Saints. Carolina has dropped four in a row while the Saints are 11-2 straight up and 10-3 ATS. With Cam Newton still battling a shoulder
